Brain Tumor Diagnosis….

Posted: January 26, 2015 in Art Work

Hi Friends and Fans of Ray! This is his wife, Rhian Ferrer….
Tuesday morning I found Ray in bed having a seizure (he has never had one before) I brought him to the hospital and he is stable but has a massive baseball sized tumor in/on his brain.  He will be undergoing surgeries, radiation and chemo therapy in the upcoming months.

I have set up a Go Fund Me page for Ray.

Here is the link. http://www.gofundme.com/rayferrer

Please share and be sure to check out the links on the page, including the Etsy link where you can get get great art prints of his that will also help contribute!

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you and our family thanks you. He holds his fans in such high regards and will be updating everyone as things progress.

  25. I am so deeply sorry to hear of this. Please send Ray all of our love and best wishes, and that goes out to you and your family too. In times like this, you have to reach deep down, and suck up every ounce of courage that you have. It’s horrific, but trust in life. (NO religion here) for Ray IS life, not living life. How much is the procedure after you’ve paid what your medical aid will pay. i.e. how much are you trying to raise honey?

    Lots of love
    Deborah

  54. Rhian, I’m so sorry to hear the news of Ray’s tumor. Having suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2011, I know what it is to have to fight for survival. Usually only 30-40% of us make it to the hospital, yet I survived, even after suffering a stroke during brain surgery. Be strong and have faith in God, in Ray’s will, and in the doctors.

Ray is an extraordinarily talented artist and I’m sure he is one heck of a fighter as well. The journey will not be easy, but it will make you both stronger and more grateful for the little things in life you share. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers; sending you both warm, gentle, healing hugs. God Bless you both and may his recovery be swift. Eva
