You have great talent! So happy you have found your calling.
Your an amazing artist…you capture perfectly my idea that life isn’t black or white, it’s all about the shadows.

Thank you Ray for liking my artwork. It means a lot to me coming from you — your work is so beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous. And pure art!
smart and simple yet very affective. do you draw the image first?
Depends. Most of the time I do not draw first. Free hand with X-Acto knife is best.
sounds like you invest a lot of time on each piece.
Absolutely. Some take about 18 hours to create the stencil.
True artist! Absolutely gorgeous.
I can’t stop looking at some of them.
What a gift you have!!!! Love your work!
Fun!

Beautiful!!!! :-O

[…] New Spray Paint Pieces on Canvas. […]
With spray paint……….INCREDIBLE!
You have a beautifully meticulous art style! I especially like the cheerful “Jazz” since I play(ed) trumpet. 🙂
Wow, you are incredible! Loved looking through your work.
I like the one with the girl sitting on the arm-chair! Mesmerizing!
Jazz and women. Two of God’s most tantilizing creations.
Awesome site, and amazing work! Here I thought everyone with a spray can was a vandal.
You think you gave this artist a compliment, but you actually insulted thousands of young artists all over the world, and revealed the racist basis of your thinking. Have you been living in outer space?
Next, you’ll discover that rap, hip-hop, and spoken word artists are “articulate”
I’ll probably be repeating what everyone said above, but I was blown away by the images and to know that it’s spray painting. I’ve never seen anything like it. Very unique and amazing!
I saw these on the website link from a previous post and showed them to my artist husband. He has long been a fan of urban wall art, although in my ignorance, I have always called it graphiti. I can clearly see such a small negative word doesn’t do justice to either of those lovely ladies.
Another amazing piece of art

I immediately fell in love with “Lady” when Ray Ferrer (the artist) shared it on Facebook. Both containing intimacy and a sense of noir, I imagine an entire story behind the instant captured here. And it’s also pretty fantastic that Ray makes his art by using hand-cutting stencils with an X-Acto knife and then using spray paint on canvas.
amazing…..x

Your work is amazing!
Awesome paintings…good work
I voted for you on Facebook, but from the looks of things, you already have a huge following. Congrats.
It appears I am coming to the party late. Nevertheless these works of art are awesome.
Having spent a good three years living in Bristol, home of marmite-esque Banksy, I can safely say I have come to somewhat of a revelation with street art. I used to be one of the blind sheeple types who viewed this kind of thing as, ‘vandalism’ when, in reality it was phenomenal artwork!
I am now a great appreciator of this form of artistic expression and am really enjoying seeing your work showcased here on your blog. Keep it up.
Wow, truly impressed with your work. I love the effect of this mixture.
beautiful…and congratulations!!!
I really dig your work!!!! Send me your email, I have a cool picture I took while in the bohemian town of Asheville NC. I especially enjoy the jazz pieces.

Spectacular!! Absolutely inspiring!!
gorgeous
Wow! Absolutely amazing!! God has blessed you with an INCREDIBLE talent!!
This is great work– congrats.
Your murals are a work of art and it has been a treat to see them. I love how you capture the expression of your subjects using lights and shadows. I also liked your comment: “I am vehemently opposed to using art as a means to rely on overly-complex theories or ideas to prop up mediocre images.” If I understand your comment, then this is exactly how I feel. I have studied music theory and composition and have felt that music, and art in general, have become too intellectual, causing the humanity in the art to be sapped. Also some people have relied on these esoteric concepts to explain what they cannot produce in their art, hence they are mediocre.
Are your stencils clear when you cut them? I love what you are doing.
I freehand most of them and some I have to sketch first for perspective.
gorgeous work
Beautiful!
I AM the Voice of HEART. I can see by your talent that you are already listening to yours. Keep listening!

These are so lifelike, that if I didn’t know they were done with stencils, I would assume that they were old photos. Just spectacular.
Those are absolutely phenomenal! So talented!
Always been a fan of spray paint at since I visited San Antonio and saw the amazing work dive by the street artists there. Excellent stuff man.
Fantastic!
What talent! Even though I usually sense a harshness from a lot of urban art, yours expresses warmth.
Just beautiful, nothing else is needed!

Even your name is beautiful! Love the nostalgia…
Really nice work. I particularly like the jazz one.
Stunning!
So beautiful. Interesting to see a woman still look sexy smoking. I’m a smoker, and I usually feel so ashamed and made to feel like a pariah. Yet, here she is made to look so … alluring. That’s amazing, how you did that. Reminds me a bit of Marilyn Monroe.
Find it SO hard to believe it is Spray Paint 😉
Awesome Work!

I love the play of light and darkness. Amazing.

Same as one draws with a pencil, I draw with a razor blade.

Love, Love, Love your Amazing work! The only spray paint urban art I have seen is on the side of the train as it passes through my tiny town along the east coast. Nothing in comparison = )
I really like the woman on the right, she is very sultry. You are very good with the x acto knife!
Whoa, very patient work. Lots of mana. And great results. I love the use of spray paint as the nod to “modern technology”. Love the softness.
