I am an internationally recognized artist who, through my work, seeks to utilize various harmonies and ideas to visually engage the audience. I also use my art as an opportunity to experiment with the range of possibilities allowed through my choice of materials, spray paint and hand cut stencils.
My work captures spaces of partial or full illumination between the perfect shadows on all sides of a person or an object. The artwork conveys the real beauty of the subject. The viewer is able to appreciate the simplicity, splendor and exquisiteness of my work and the subject. The work is raw, it’s stripped back, it’s honest.
I am vehemently opposed to using art as a means to rely on overly-complex theories or ideas to prop up mediocre images. I believe that the quality of the actual work is what is paramount.

A second one from Ray Ferrer – Emotion on Canvas as this one says it all.
Beautiful work. Looking forward to more!
Ahh you have so captured the spirit. Brings me to tears.
Hello Ray,
So many emotions, so much beauty in your artwork…i admire your creations and i think you’re amazingly talented. Is rarely and precious when someone has this gift of touching hearts by his art…and you certainly have it. My admiration for the artist and also for the special and amazing heart who can feel and create such treasures…

This is beautiful! As a daughter of a vet who didn’t come home, I am always so blessed by stories of homecomings such as this represents.
Ray, you could almost write “insert any colours here” on that flag. The emotion in this work is intense. Great work 🙂
Beautiful work.
Excellent piece! Stencil work or not, looking at it brought a smile to my face.
Your artistry is breathtaking. One has to pause and try to take it all in. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with such skill and thank you for stopping by my blog. Keep up the fascinating work!
Ray, we’re not overly art-savvy ourselves but yours seems very impressive to us and I’m sure we’ll enjoy keeping up with your work 🙂
I’d like to fix my previous comment. I’m laughing at myself because somehow I typed that I reared up… um, I think you knew what I meant but the OCD part of me has to fix this… So….
It’s beautiful. I teared up as I studied it.
I figured that is what you meant! 🙂
Amazing work. Full of emotion. Well done 🙂
So full of emotion it makes me catch my breath
It’s beautiful. I reared up as I studied it. 💚
Wow, that’s is beautiful!
Wow this is so beautiful – it has so much emotion in it. Good work!
Okay, if you already got an email from me, chalk it up to an old man getting technically screwed.
Your work of the homecoming soldier and child got me to thinking.
My son had a girlfriend during high school who met and married a fellow student while she was at NC State. Ollie was in ROTC, and went to Afghanistan, where he lost his leg — I’m not sure what the story behind that was — possibly an IUD.
Anyway, I want to commission you to create a work for them. They are a large family with lots of kids, and are being presented with their ownnew home by an organization aiding military vets in this fashion. That happens this month in Fuquay Varina, a small town south of Raleigh.
I’ve asked her for a photograph of the family that they really like, possibly with the new home in the background. I’ve asked for a large digital file.
Will this work?
Let me know.

Very nice, Ray.
I like your work but a part of me remains skeptical not knowing how you produce your work. Skeptikal meaning they seem too good to be freehand and I assume some form of lesser artistic resource such as stencils. Please could you let me know how you produce your work to put my mind at rest in order that I can bask in the true skill and glory. Thank you.
There is a youtube video of my work. It is somewhere on my page.
I just watched you clips, I guess it makes you 2 X the artist seeing as you have to draw with a blade then paint what you cut out to look good. Well done.
this is amazing work! i love this! very nice, i hope you do many more (:
