I am an internationally recognized artist who, through my work, seeks to utilize various harmonies and ideas to visually engage the audience. I also use my art as an opportunity to experiment with the range of possibilities allowed through my choice of materials, spray paint and hand cut stencils.
My work captures spaces of partial or full illumination between the perfect shadows on all sides of a person or an object. The artwork conveys the real beauty of the subject. The viewer is able to appreciate the simplicity, splendor and exquisiteness of my work and the subject. The work is raw, it’s stripped back, it’s honest.
I am vehemently opposed to using art as a means to rely on overly-complex theories or ideas to prop up mediocre images. I believe that the quality of the actual work is what is paramount.
I love this piece, it’s beautiful and somehow it looks deceitfully simple until you realise it is not in fact a worn-out black and white photograph. Like some of the comments before mine have pointed out, there’s a lot to the picture and it triggers ones imagination.
I also like how it shares the title of my latest piece of short fiction, which is probably how you ended up reading it! 🙂 I look forward to seeing more of your art in my reader-feed.
Amazing piece! it works as if it were a black and white photo (woman framed at doorway, with strong light through fog from the exterior.) The fact that it is spray paint kicks up the fabulousness several notches!
You have an original style, sir, that I find intriguing. I’m not an artist, but nearly all of my closest friends are artists, and I don’t believe any of them (except perhaps one, with graffiti) has ever considered using spray paint as a medium to convey your messages.
I give you props, for being a radical in the art field. 🙂
Beautiful and mysterious!
Thank you. I am actually offering this for $250 instead of the high retail. If interested let me know. Great holiday gift!
beautiful. 🙂
Beautiful…I am a huge fan of b/w art and photography! And in this piece you nailed it!
