I am an internationally recognized artist who, through my work, seeks to utilize various harmonies and ideas to visually engage the audience. I also use my art as an opportunity to experiment with the range of possibilities allowed through my choice of materials, spray paint and hand cut stencils.
My work captures spaces of partial or full illumination between the perfect shadows on all sides of a person or an object. The artwork conveys the real beauty of the subject. The viewer is able to appreciate the simplicity, splendor and exquisiteness of my work and the subject. The work is raw, it’s stripped back, it’s honest.
I am vehemently opposed to using art as a means to rely on overly-complex theories or ideas to prop up mediocre images. I believe that the quality of the actual work is what is paramount.

I have an old Singer similar to this one – and did you know that the company has a new model out that replicates this black, vintage look – (just saw it in an ad) – anyhow, very cool piece!
Beautiful artwork! I learned to sew on that machine.
What a wonderful piece. This summer I inherited my great grandmother’s 1917 treadle and a 1923 electric. I have started refurbishing them and a few more since. They are beautiful machines, as you have captured in your work.
Thank you so much! If interested I would offer the piece to you at 50% off. I love when there is a connection to my artwork! If interested email me at reinaldoferrer@gmail.com
Pls have an exhibition in phoenix !
I had one of these… really my mother’s… so I guess that makes me antique too! Beautiful image.
Cool.
I love your work, especially this sewing machine piece. You are very talented!
Classic machines!
Had one just like that. I hope it’s holding up in the storage shed!
You are amazing!
I like this one. Great work of art. My mother used to have one of this but now we have a new one more performant. It’s always a pleasure reading and seeing your posts.
Awww my Grandmas had one of those.

oh reminds me of my neighbor who used to sew a lot using this machine 🙂

My best friend would LOVE this.
when my clothes is torn, my mom sew it with this machine
Great job, I love the old machines, This tone is soft with the right colors. I like it a lot.
We had one of these (my dad likes antiques) and I used to use it to sew the thickest leather patches on my uber-cool jeans back in the day! It’s the only machine I ever used where the needle could withstand that. 🙂
Since I can only “LIKE” once I had to comment LOOOVE IT!
Wow!! It looks so real….. Beautiful…….
Love this!
FAntastic!
So many in the family made their living with one of these – nothing in the modern world can hold a candle to the old machines. Lovely work!

Being a seamstress, I must say I LOVE IT!!! ~SueBee
Oh gosh, I still have that at home although I don’t think it’s working anymore. My mother used to sew with this. Not sure if it does qualify as an antique but anyhoo…nice job 🙂
Ray, check out my photo “hanging around”. Maybe the same old Singer sewing machine? Your image on canvas is really art – my image on my hard drive is just that – an image. Not much talent necessary to press a button, but it’s fun and keeps this old guy out of trouble. 🙂
Love this!
Ray, once I start earning money (aka, once I’m out of college), I am going to buy your artwork. This is beautiful.
That’s beautiful….I have one with gold lettering and it still works:)
