  1. Fantastic! My fav so far…

  2. Fantastic piece. To echo another of your commenters: As a writer, this piece immediately charmed me. I’d love to have a print to frame and hang in my office, but when I checked your Etsy shop there were only mousepads…maybe you could keep a list of the number of writers who comment, and come out with prints when it becomes financially feasible? My thanks for yet another picture that ‘sings in the memory’ (as Khayyam would say).

This was so wonderful to see. reminds me of my mom’s typewriter. I can hear the clinks, clanks, & chinhgs as I type. Thank for the fond memory.

Your artwork is amazing. I like it all, seriously, especially the old typewriter painting. My character, Joe Climax, actually writes on an old typerwriter that’s wired into a computer. So I’ll be stopping by to see what’s up.

This is so worth sharing. Ray Ferrer does amazing things with spray paint. This particular piece struck a chord with me because I’m in journalism (and yes, I’m old enough to remember laying out pages by hand in high school) and I have many fond memories of the old manual typewriters in my life. I can’t count the number of times I stuck a finger in front of the strike plate to “tattoo” a letter on that finger. Good times …
While I can’t afford it (journalists aren’t exactly rolling in dough), I really hope someone buys it as it deserves a place of honor. And I’m kinda hoping Ray will decide to use it in his next batch of T-shirt screenprints (that I could do!).

Gorgeous — I so wish I could afford it. Having worked in journalism for the past 20 years, I have a special love for the typewriter, and this just makes me happy.
