“Blue Monroe” – Spray Paint on Canvas by Me

“Blue Monroe” —  This is a 14″ x 11″ piece on canvas that I have created using an X-Acto knife and Baby Blue Spray Paint.  This is also the first time I used color in a piece this year.  Only one made and then the free-hand cut stencil is destroyed.  This piece took me 11 hours to create.

“Art for Music” — 35+ Spray Paint Pieces, Installation by Me

This is a collection of pieces (35+) that I did for a 40ft wall installation for charity at The Lagond Music School in Westchester, NY – Just outside of NYC.

On April 13th there is an event at the School to raise money for at-risk youth and children with special needs.  All of my art pieces that I donated will be for sale with 100% of the proceeds going to the school for the needs mentioned above.

“Yours Truly” — This is a mixed media collaboration piece that I have created with my wife.  She laid down the foundation with a beautiful collage of antique documentation from abandoned psychiatric wards around NY and a lovely damask pattern and I of course laid the Audrey Hepburn stencil down.   This work is available for a very limited time.

“Dear Sir” – First Collaboration w/ My Wife

Titled “Dear Sir” this is the first time I’ve collaborated with my wife on an art piece.  The collage is made using antique documentation found in abandoned Psychiatric wards across NY, some dating back to the 30′s and 40′s and I, of course created the stencil that adorns the foreground.  The piece is mixed media and spray paint on 20″ x 16″ canvas.

New Piece for Upcoming Exhibition….

Upcoming Art Exhibition

Exciting News!!!

My upcoming art show / exhibition will be featuring 15-20 NEW pieces ranging in size from 20″ x 16″ up to 4ft x 5ft!!!  The exhibition is titled “Life… In Black & White” and takes place on September 16th, 2012 in Williamsburg, VA at the  Art Cafe 26.

My wife and I will be attending the opening event / dinner so come on out and say hi!  As I create new pieces for the show I will include the images here to get your feedback on them, starting with the beautiful piece below.
